Delft Road Safety Courses (DRSC) is a joined initiative of the Delft University of Technology (TU Delft), the Foundation of Postgraduate Education (PAO) at TU Delft, SWOV Institute for Road Safety Research and Road Safety for All. These Dutch based organizations started the DRSC in 2012 with training courses for road safety professionals in low- and middle income countries.
Road crashes form a large and fast growing problem, especially in low- and middle income countries (LMIC). Road crashes kill 1.3 million people a year and 20 – 50 million people get injured in a road crash every year.
