The European Mobility Week will start on 16-22 September 2017 inviting local politicians and the public to experience the benefits of shared mobility. Since 2002, this campaign tries to improve public health, quality of life and to influence mobility and transport issues.
This year the event will be devoted to a specific theme: “Clean, shared and intelligent mobility" clearly explained by the event’s slogan “Sharing gets you further”. Indeed fostering sharing mobility is the main objective of the initiative because it may be a solution to reduce costs and to decrease the negative impact on the environment.
Sharing mobility may be also a way to meet new people and to make your transfer more social!
The initiative stresses the importance of mixing transport types more easily. Driving, cycling, public transport - it's all possible when we share.
