23/02/2018 - The 9th World Urban Forum: an opportunity to talk about children’s basic human and civil rights

Two weeks ago, Kuala Lumpur hosted the 9th World Urban Forum, representing an occasion to discuss the implementation of the New Urban Agenda, the 2030 policy map for the world’s cities agreed at Habitat III.

In this context, more than 20.000 urban leaders, policy-makers, and activists specifically addressed the urgent issue of children’s basic human and civil rights – to play, to learn, to move, to breathe, to live – must be at the center of debate.
