The section “International Road Federation news” within the World Highways (issue n.5 June 2018) contained a deepening about the SaferAfrica activities in the field of Data Collection in Africa.
The article, after a brief introduction on the Project in general, exposes its main objectives with a specific focus on the Pan-African Road Safety Data and knowledge Centre that represented a key element of discussion during the last Project meeting held in Athens. It is aimed to support policymakers and stakeholders with evidence of critical risk factors and identification of connected actions and good practices based on high-quality data and knowledge.
Furthermore, the article referred to the International Course on Road Safety Engineering and Audits held from 23 to 28 July 2018 and organized by IRF Geneva.
